I seconded that request. Our shop is all mac based. A mac port would be great :)

nice news in this bad day for apple users. I dwonloaded it but I'll test it propalby tomorrow. thanks a lot for this port!

I found a some time and first my warnings (not exactly warnings)

you use '.ico' folder for shaders' thumbails. On macs all folders with dot in name, i.e. '.folder' are hidden default. when user unpack shader file dowloaded from shadermonger site he don't see it (shader thumbail folder) and after copying only shader file it isn't displayed in Shadermonger in Maya (it works grat!).

I used ForkLift for display hidden files/folders and after copying all files (shader + hidden .ico folder) all is displayer correctly.

As noted above, dot files do not work as expected on OSX systems. Since this is an internal folder used in the ShaderMon script, can the Icons folder please be changed to "ico" or "icons" instead of ".ico"?

Hi Blogger.
it is possible to extract the entire contents (including the .ico folder) to the ShaderLib's directory. i know OSX will not show it , but it will be there, with the icons.

changing this would be an issue, as shaders currently present on this website were packed in that perticular way.

as sujuz suggested , try using "ForkLift " for help with extracting files.
